Pre-Departure to NYC!

I head to New York tomorrow and I couldn’t be more excited! There is so much to look forward to. We have a jam-packed week ahead of us with an impressive schedule of guests.

Each student was assigned a guest to do extensive research on. We each will be a “lead interviewer” where we have to start off by asking the questions. I was assigned Cassie Carothers. She is the Managing Food Editor at Yahoo Food. I was excited to learn more about Cassie’s career and about Yahoo as a company.

Besides visiting media organizations like NBC Universal, ABC, The New York Times, Bloomberg, etc.; we are also get the chance to go to numerous shows. We get to go to The Daily Show, The Nightly Show, The Late Late Show, and The Book of Mormon. I feel so incredibly lucky that I get to experience this trip of a lifetime.
